My approach as a contemplative psychotherapist is a bit like hosting a mindful, no-judgment dinner party for your thoughts, emotions and bodily sensations. Everyone gets a seat at the table-even the guests you'd rather not invite. Instead of shoving the awkward or painful ones into a closet, we get curious about them. With a combination of deep presence, gentle humor, and somatic awareness, I help you notice what's happening inside without getting hijacked by it. The goal? To build a relationship with your inner world that's thoughtful, meaningful and full of unexpected insights. I believe therapy should be an accessible and beneficial tool to navigate the complexity of life. My own life experiences have instilled patience and compassion in me, as well as an approach to counseling rooted in humbled curiosity. While being trained in a contemplative approach, I also draw from existentialist and behavioral modalities.
