The late comedian Harris Wittels once said, "we are all wonderful and horrible and figuring it out"; this statement is the basis for my approach to therapy. Before I decided to pursue a career in psychotherapy, I worked in comedy - rising in the administrative ranks at the famed Second City theater in Chicago. Now I use that improvisational ability to provide compassionate care to address depression and anxiety.
