Hello, my name is Kristin and I am a licensed marriage and family therapist. I received my Master’s of Clinical Counseling from Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego. The majority of my work has been around supporting clients in community care while also educating them and their families about mental health. I have worked with individuals who have gone through many forms of trauma while also navigating life transitions, physical health issues, self-harm and substance use to name a few. Ultimately, your safety, both physically and emotionally, is my top priority. I show up in the therapy room with a Person-Centered approach, always. I primarily utilize a Cognitive-Behavioral (CBT) approach, along with concepts from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Through collaboration, and active discussion in sessions, I empower my clients to feel more at ease with the the unknown.
