Kristin Newland earned her Masters Degree in Social Work at Rutgers University. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 20 years experience working with clients ages 10-18, young adults and adults dealing with difficult life transitions, anxiety and depression. Kristin is also a managing partner at Navesink Counseling Associates, overseeing and supervising a team of skilled clinicians. In our work together, we will use CBT principles to explore how automatic thoughts influence your emotional responses and behaviors. We will challenge those maladaptive thinking patterns, strengthen adaptive coping skills, and focus on the steps to interrupt cycles that are no longer serving you.
