We live healthier, happier, and longer lives when we have caring, supportive relationships with the people in our lives. Given that life has struggles and dangers, and we’re given no operating manual, we are all survivors of numerous daily challenges, and larger heartbreaking adversities. In this culture we struggle with disconnection, comparison, and competition at levels unknown in simpler times. Some of us have experienced cruel levels of neglect, or emotional or physical abuse. We all have adapted enough to survive, often with limitations. How do we address our own stuckness, emptiness, dissatisfaction, or pain?
