I am a Marriage and Family Therapist. I started in the addiction field and treated substance abuse problems. I have 19 years experience and have worked with many individuals, couples, families. I can help you with anything from marital issues to individual concerns like depression and anxiety. I have also worked with clients who have experienced trauma in their life from physical, emotional, or sexual abuse. I love the process of getting to assist people in becoming their best self and watching healing and growth. Because of my Marriage and Family Therapy background I believe in using a systemic approach to helping people change. I also use the Gottman Behavioral Therapy approach in working with couples as well as Imago and Emotionally Focused Therapy. I recently received training in EMDR through EMDRIA and have loved implementing this into my clinical approach.
