Dr. Markert is a licensed clinical psychologist, with a B.A. from Emory University, Masters degrees from the University of Michigan and the University of Toledo, and a PhD from the University of Toledo. She did her internship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) Medical School. She provides assessment of mood disorders, ADHD, and cognitive problems related to school performance. Her training is in Cognitive-Behavioral and Dialectical Behavior Therapies. Dr. Markert works in therapy with adolescents and adults with a wide variety of psychological problems including: Anxiety, Depression, ADHD, PTSD, Bipolar Disorder, Adjustment Disorder, and Post-partum anxiety and depression.
