I enjoy working with both males and females in therapy. My patients come to me with a wide variety of problems, including loss, stress, problems with relationships, chronic health issues, mood disorders, inattention and parenting. Rather than becoming specialized in one area of interest, I believe that the variety of the problems I deal with in therapy helps keep me focused on the individual in front of me. I will work to understand you and provide a safe place for you to discuss and work through your problems. I believe that there is a balance between understanding your history, or context, and using that to guide how to help you with your problems today. I am client-centered in my approach and blend client history with skills based learning.
