I use research based brief therapy approaches to help COUPLES, FAMILIES, and INDIVIDUALS reduce distress and achieve more satisfying lives. I specialize in working with COUPLES using methods from Integrative Couple Therapy. I first carefully assess each partner's goals and concerns, identify troublesome patterns, and set a direction for change. Couples then decide if they want to work with me further to learn skills to reduce hurtful conflict and increase emotional and sexual intimacy. I also treat couples preparing for marriage, experiencing infidelity, or adjusting to separation and divorce.
