Hello! My name is Laura (she/her). I am a limited licensed counselor. I have a Bachelors in Psychology, and a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. My approach to counseling is primarily person-centered. I believe that people have the innate ability to heal and grow given the right support. I also use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help my clients accept and face life's challenges, identify what they value, and move toward it. With children (and adults who are interested), I practice Play Therapy. That being said, I adapt my technique as needed to meet each individual client’s concerns.
