My work with clients is based on the value of relationships and building resiliency. My first priority as a clinician is to help clients feel safe so they can do the work that leads to meaningful, long-term change. I use a compassionate and collaborative approach to facilitate curiosity rather than judgment. It is not my goal to change my clients; My hope is to help them shift their relationships with themselves in order to feel less shame, more power, and have more meaningful connections with others. It is my job to “hold the space,” so my clients can explore who they are, how they feel, and what they need.
