As a clinical social worker, I provide therapy from the standpoint of a mentor, teacher, as well as a guide, in order for clients to have control over their treatment. I use an eclectic mixture of approaches, including strength based, psychoeducational, narrative and cognitive behavioral therapies. Meeting clients where they are is what we do best No medication is prescribed in my office currently as I am not a physician and there is not one on staff, but I do work with many physicians from around the area. I will gladly refer to a physician if medication management is needed or a clinical psychologist for formal testing.
