LGBTQ+ licensed social worker passionate about queer history and advocacy. My goal is providing affirming mental health care to all those under the LGBTQ+ umbrella. Life is messy, complicated, and often out of our control. Being amidst this chaos can feel overwhelming and isolating, especially if you are still figuring out your identity and how you fit into the world! I strive to create a collaborative and warm space to foster a therapeutic relationship based on trust, empathy, and validation. I work with my clients to find solutions where we can and understanding or acceptance where we cannot. My aim is to help clients figure out what aspects of life they do have control over and empower them to take a stand or make a change. This control can come in the form of exploration and acceptance or recognizing and disrupting unhealthy patterns.
