Since I was a high schooler in Washington, DC I knew I wanted to be a therapist. Learning about peer mediation at that time inspired me to learn more about how to best support healthy relationships and community wellness. I began my studies in psychology at Vassar College and completed my master's training at The Johns Hopkins University School of Education in 2016. Since that time I've worked in community mental health settings as a licensed professional counselor providing individual and group therapy to children, adults and families. In our first session we will compete a full assessment exploring what brings you to therapy, your past experiences with treatment and current symptoms/challenges that impact your daily life. We'll work on identifying your goals for therapy to help me best understand what you want to gain from the experience.
