I am a currently a second year student in the CUNY/Lehman College clinical mental health counseling program completing a six hundred hour internship at Head in the Right Direction Counseling. Prior to starting the path to become a counselor, I have worked in graduate education serving as an administrative leader at Columbia Business School, Sarah Lawrence College and Baruch College As a mental health counselor, I work with families, couples adults, and children. My approach is informed by theories associated with Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). I help adults, children and families navigate complex emotions and relationships. My work with children focuses on anxious emotions and related behaviors using play modalities and teaching supportive parenting approaches.
