I have been counseling in higher education for nearly thirty years. Thus, my experience has afforded me the opportunity to work with a variety of individuals and issues: I counsel clients ranging in age from 16 to 75, from various religions, genders, sexual orientations and ethnicities. I am culturally sensitive and respect diversity. Such exposure has aided me in recognizing the uniqueness in all individuals & understanding we are all the authors and pilots of our own life. A majority of individuals who make the decision to receive counseling, will discover that the answer is within if they give themselves time... My vast counseling experience includes clients/students who experience challenges in the following areas (including, but not limited to): Anxiety, sexuality, self-esteem, relationships, grief, family, illness, etc. My theoretical framework is Person Centered/Solution Focused, via talk therapy, mindfulness, meditation, creative play, eclectic approaches...
