My name is Linda Bronson Wood, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. I have worked with diverse populations and both adults and children. I use a strengths based approach where you identify your strengths and choose a few goals to work on that focus on changes you would like to see in your life or relationships. Through the counseling process we rely on the strengths you already have identified and I will share and teach techniques that are proven to assist you in making positive changes in your life. Some of the techniques I share are; mindfulness, breathing, self inquiry, motivational interviewing and behavioral management. My specialty when working with children is that I will work with infants to age 5, with a parent or caretaker. I am CCP Child, Parent, Psychotherapy Rostered and attended and completed an 18 month course in CCP. The focus is on creating healthy and strong attachment and reducing the trauma response in parenting. I also specialize in working with teens!
