I am an experienced psychologist in private practice in San Carlos, California. My style of therapy is to provide a safe, compassionate environment to explore your feelings, while offering practical skills to alleviate distress. Therapy should be a collaborative process, and we will work together to identify your goals, and adapt the process to help you achieve them. By integrating complementary evidence-based methods, we can address current challenges and long-standing issues. I look forward to helping you be well and to live a more fulfilling life. I work with adults struggling with a wide array of issues including depression, anxiety, and trauma. I also enjoy helping those who are adjusting to major life transitions including postpartum adjustment, work and family changes. A big part of my work is encouraging greater self-acceptance, which promotes growth.
