Welcome! I specialize in working with children, adolescents and young adults coping with anxiety, depression and/or other behavioral difficulties related to life transitions including but not limited to divorce, out of home placement, grief and loss. I work closely with families and focus on the importance of relationships, building self worth and creating/maintaining peace at home. Caregiver involvement is essential in my work with children. I provide parents and/or caregivers with skills to utilize at home as well as provide insight and a better understanding of what your child may be experiencing. As a registered play therapist, I primarily use play in my work with children ages 3-12. Play therapy offers children a safe environment to explore complex emotions and work through difficult experiences in an age appropriate way. My work with adolescents typically involves utilizing creative interventions including art and other expressive modalities.
