As a clinical social worker practicing for decades, I continue to believe that establishing a positive therapeutic relationship is critical for client success. Trust takes time however, and needs to be earned. Clients are made comfortable through using humor and a genuine interest in their life story. The power of creativity to solve problems and enhance the quality of one’s life is foundational. I have significant experience in working with those faced with anxiety, depression, PTSD, ADHD, ASD, and learning problems. While I utilize several different treatment modalities (please see below) I always embrace a client-centered, solution-focused approach, to help build rapport and expedite progress.
