Life is full of surprising opportunities, unexpected changes, and personal challenges. Occasionally when faced with life's opportunities and difficulties we feel anxious, depressed, even immobilized with indecision. Friends and family can be a wonderful support, but sometimes we need the help of an unbiased person to listen and help us see that what might look like an impossible hurdle is really an opportunity for growth. Struggling in school or in our careers, relationship or parenting difficulties, coping with trauma, loss, and aging are all normal developmental challenges that people regularly face but that occasionally require some help and guidance.
