I am a graduate from Seton Hall University in New Jersey and am licensed in both Florida and Oregon. Thus far in both my personal and professional life, I have witnessed or experienced situations that “take us by surprise.” These are the circumstances that happen suddenly with little to no notice but become life-defining. Perhaps the death of a loved one, the loss of a job, depression or anxiety creep in and begin affecting day-to-day life, or we experience a traumatic event.
