My therapeutic motto is "If you give a person a fish, they eat tonight; if you teach a person to fish, they eat for a lifetime". Ideal clients for me are those who seek their own answers between sessions and work to incorporate that knowledge into a therapeutic process that they own. My style is active & engaging, using techniques from both my clinical social work training but also my first Masters degree in old fashioned clinical psychology and my experience of more years than I want to admit. I like to say I’m a real person who encourages freedom of expression and unconditional positive regard.
