Hi, I’m Lisa! I am so, so proud of you already that you've made here! Asking for help when you're not feeling your best can be intimidating, and you've already taken the first step in your self-care journey. My hope is that together, we can make therapy something that you look forward to every week! Therapy with me is all about finding that sweet spot between compassion and honesty. I’m here to fully listen, support you, & also challenge and help you face what’s getting in the way of the life you want. I work with a wide age-range and various presenting struggles, but my passion is working with queer individuals and couples! I pull from different approaches like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (which focuses on what you can control), Internal Family Systems (which targets getting in touch with those protective parts of you), and Psychodynamic, (which centers on childhood), but really, my main focus is what works best for you. If something isn't working, let's change it up!
