I believe that the first important step to any relationship is trust. Establishing rapport with my patient is the first thing I focus on at the onset of treatment to ensure my patient is comfortable. Whatever the presenting problem is, we can work together through it if Trust has been established and protected. Only then can the healing process actually begin. After that, the rest is easy!
