I am excited to be a part of Flourishing Lives Counseling Center as a licensed professional counselor, providing therapy under the supervision of Dr. Kathleen Hayden, licensed clinical psychologist. As a licensed and certified speech/language pathologist, I have 17 years of experience working with kids and adolescents, as well as an understanding of today’s public school procedures. As your counselor, I will strive to understand what matters to you and address the challenges you are facing with gentleness, kindness, and a sense of hope. If faith is important to you, I am happy to provide care from a Christian perspective. I also have a heart for adults who are struggling with life’s unexpected challenges that have resulted in relationship issues and/or feelings of depression, anxiety, worry, stress, and other uncomfortable emotions. I believe that effective treatment involves getting to know the whole person, including thoughts, feelings, perspectives, and beliefs.
