Are you or your teenager in need of support, understanding and new tools to facilitate life's demands and stress? My approach is to provide a supportive, encouraging and positive environment to offer alternative ways of coping. I work with clients using CBT and problem-solving techniques to reduce depression, anxiety, and relationship issues in a supportive and positive environment. My goal is to encourage personal growth by strengthening ones' ability to resolve problems, increase communication, manage mood and anxiety as well as increase self-esteem. My style is active, supportive, collaborative and compassionate. As a parent and school counselor for over 20 years, I specialize in resolving challenges in the home and at school. Advice, understanding, compassion, empathy and change are at the heart of my therapy sessions. I will give you tools to enhance relationships while building strengths to overcome life's obstacles.
