I am a Child Specialist and Certified EMDR Therapist for all ages, children and adults. The more I learn about children the better I understand adults. Our past suffering affects how we live our lives as adults, interacting in relationship with others while managing what life throws at us. Children must learn how to be themselves while trying to fit in, earn good grades, and make their parents proud. They feel anxious, afraid of failure, rejection. Like us, their emotions affect how well they behave and do at school. My goal will be to deal with the cause, not just the symptoms, of why you call me. I practice from a client centered approach as your consultant in your journey to your personal well-being or that of your child. I inform Special Education parents of their rights and how to take charge of PPTs . I treat the whole person and advocate for what is needed. Children, young adults, and adults; trauma, abuse, crisis or won't go away problems.
