Our bodies are always trying to communicate with us. For many valid and protective reasons, we may tune out what we feel emotionally and somatically. It may be helpful to explore where the achy muscle tension, sweaty palms, dry throat, floaty feelings, tightness in the chest, and racing heart originates from. My name is Lourdes "Janet" Camacho and I have been a practicing therapist since 2015. I work with adolescent girls and women looking to heal from trauma and adverse life events that occurred in the past and impacts current functioning. I primarily use EMDR to treat mental health challenges and will incorporate other modified protocols to meet your unique needs.
