Life changing events, a traumatic past, interpersonal conflicts, ongoing feelings, such as anxiety, grief, depression and guilt all motivate people to seek therapy. Therapy works best where a trusting relationship is developed. Experience, compassion, respect, honesty, deep listening ; and when appropriate, humor, are traits I bring to the therapeutic relationship. I support my clients to explore ways to express and manage challenging feelings, people or circumstances. Finding safety with curiosity and compassion and validation for the self, we work toward individual and relationship growth.
