Welcome to my psychoanalytic practice for adults. Our minds have a huge influence on how we think and feel each day; slowing down and noticing subtle aspects of ourselves with a trained analyst can provide much needed integration of powerful emotions that have not yet had a voice for expression. People can articulate emotions without feeling them, experience emotions in the body, can't find words, and unthinkingly go into action never quite feeling satisfied. Integrating feelings and thoughts vitalizes human life. You may experience emotional numbness, a feeling in your body without words, a burst of overwhelming emotions, even as a need to keep busy to stave off something that's uncomfortable or frightening. We'll explore and look closely at your dreams, wishes, and fears in relationships using our working relationship as a home base.
