About

My name is Lynsey and I’m from Solvang, California, a small Danish town. I received my Masters in Professional Counseling from Grand Canyon University in 2014. Prior to that I received my Masters in Child Life from the University of La Verne, where I was able to work in a hospital setting helping to normalize the environment as much as possible for the patient and their family. As a therapist I’m passionate about helping to find the core issues and develop skills to address those. I value kindness, compassion and hard work. I prefer an eclectic approach with an emphasis on CBT and strength based. I’m also trained in EMDR.
