For many individuals (or couples) it is difficult enough just committing to contact a therapist...but then, who is a good fit? Many of my clients indicate they appreciate my more 'active-therapist' approach. Jointly we discuss various solutions with honest feedback, as well as support. My work with couples specializes on those experiencing communication challenges, rebuilding trust, or substance related issues, and even finding that intimacy again. My decade as a Supervising Family Mediator for the Superior Courts has given me valuable experience in dealing with ending coupleships and co-parenting strategies.
