After almost 15 years in diverse social work careers, I made it official with an LCSW title. I specialize in work across the lifespan pulling expertise from my background in Elder Care as a nursing assistant to managing a group home for teens in foster care, to Veterans at the VA and Refugees at the IRC, to a focus with LGBTQIA+ and women to counseling at a grief center. I specialize in and enjoy working with folx through grief, depression, suicidality, chronic illnesses, life transitions throughout the lifespan, existentialism, and LGBTQIA+ folks and women, identifying and living with values, and self-esteem and identity concerns. I specialize in treatment through interpersonal, wholistic, somatic, eclectic, and creative psychotherapies focused in working collaboratively with you to meet goals. I am formally trained in interpersonal psychotherapy for depression, grief therapy, suicide prevention, assessment, and safety planning, teens, and women, gender, sexuality, and psychology.
