Hi there! Welcome. I'm Dr. Charles Manda, the Licensed Pastoral Counselor and Clinician at the Manda Institute for Counseling Services in Kentucky. At Manda Institute, we specialize in spirituality counseling to support clients who want their spiritual needs to be addressed in therapy. Studies show that spiritual well-being reduces despair, anxiety, depression, the wish to die, and improves the quality of life. We often work with clients who are experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, spiritual questioning, and life transitions. We often use the Skilled Helper Model, CBT, Narrative to listen to what brings you to therapy, assess your needs, hopes and resources, and agree on a treatment approach that best addresses your goals of care.
