At Empowered Counseling, LLC., we inspire empowerment by allowing our clients to be their true authentic self. We don't just sit in a room and talk, we create space for transformation. We serve to allow our clients to reach new heights through the right attitude and mindset to live a more productive and vibrant life. I am not the kind of therapist who only nods and takes notes, I get in the trenches with you. I work with individuals 3 years old and older to work through the trauma, the identity shifts, the relationships that hurt and the parts of yourself you are still learning to love. I treat individuals, not the disorder. Treating the individual instead of the disorder helps me get to the root of the problem at hand. With trauma, adjustment disorders (divorce, parents splitting, a new school, etc.) and personality disorders, we know that an underlying problem is at the root cause of the disorder. I also have experience working hands on with Autism for over 16 years.
