About
As a therapist who is Chinese-American, a child of immigrants, and a first generation college student, I am passionate about working with individuals who seek help with identity conflicts, discrimination, intergenerational trauma, self-esteem issues, and are looking to create a life that is consistently in harmony with their core authentic values. I understand the nuances and challenges of growing up with conflicting values and identities and how that has had adverse impacts on the way we function in the world today. In a therapeutic setting, we can let the walls down and feel safe enough to let the true change you seek, begin. I use the past to inform us of how you relate and react to the environment today. With the awareness we build, I bridge evidence-based techniques in to promote the development of new ways of responding to replace the old, unwanted ways. I have specialized in working with eating disorders, addiction, and co-occurring issues such as depression, anxiety, PTSD.
