My professional path shifted when a loved one had the courage to speak up about traumatic events that significantly impacted her life. Searching for answers to help her cope with her distress, I was inspired and motivated to become a Marriage and Family Therapist. I have 9 years of mental health experience working with clients from different socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds. My clients have ranged from children, adults, seniors, couples, and families. In our first session, we will briefly explore your needs, discuss your goals, and discuss expectations of treatment. I take a client centered approach using treatment modalities including EMDR, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, and cognitive behavioral therapy.
