My work as a family therapist has been shaped not only by formal training, but most deeply by the many stories shared by people in therapeutic conversations. These encounters have taught me that the struggles we face, while painful, can also open unexpected opportunities for renewal as possibilities often hidden under the weight of the problem itself. I pay close attention to the ways problems are shaped by social expectations around race, gender, class, sexuality, body, language, and more. Through conversation, I join people in exploring problems' cracks, searching for other possible ways of living.
