About
The world is vast, overwhelming, and often confusing. For a child whose brain is still developing, much of it may not make sense. Children often find ways to cope with their surroundings to meet their needs, which can sometimes lead to strong emotions like anxiety, anger, depression, or behavioral issues. I believe that children have limitless potential for growth and an innate capacity for resilience. I also think that working collaboratively with parents and primary caregivers is crucial and essential for growth. Through child-centered play therapy, I work with clients to boost their self-worth, connect their thoughts and behaviors, understand their emotions more deeply, develop a stronger sense of self, and practice self-regulation during chaotic times.
