I believe we all find ourselves struggling at times in our lives and it’s helpful to be seen, heard and understood during these times. It is also my belief, in our current fast-paced society, that we are often conflicted with competing values and expectations, which tends to exacerbate our anxiety, sadness and frustration. In my practice with adolescents and adults, I have been privileged to witness amazing courage and vulnerability, as those who are in pain seek to better understand themselves and ultimately take better care of themselves.
