I have experience and work with those that have undergone traumatic encounters. I believe that healing comes from addressing the traumas and confronting the difficulties that come from them, such as unhealthy boundaries and maladaptive coping. I utilize a mindfulness and strengths-based approach in addition to creating a stabilizing and safe environment to be able to process and deal with the emotions that result from the extremes of the traumas that we experience. I tend to use action, coaching-oriented skills focused on behavioral aspects (eg stress management, emotional regulation) to mitigate the impact on life & relationships.
