I am a bilingual (Spanish/English) bicultural, LICSW, clinical social worker. I obtained my MSW and PhD degrees from Smith College, School for Social Work. I have worked in the mental health field for over 25 years providing individual and family therapy to adults, children, adolescents and couples. I specialize in parent-child and sibling conflict, depression, grief/loss, domestic violence, anxiety, trauma, acculturation, relocation/immigration and life transitions. I am also an Associate Professor at Westfield State University, and adjunct faculty at Columbia University, Smith College and Boston University.
