Maria Mendez Perez is a bilingual first-generation Latina therapist who is passionate about helping adults who are experiencing overwhelming emotions due to unresolved trauma. The majority of her practice focuses on managing symptoms of depression and anxiety, and learning skills to improve emotion regulation. In my free time I love spending time with my family. When I need some alone time I spend time with our dog, read a book, or listen to a podcast, probably something on mental health. I can offer a warm, nonjudgmental, and safe environment for you to get to the root of your distress. In my years of experience as a therapist, I have found that much can be healed through a therapeutic relationship and using evidence-based treatment approaches.
