I believe that every person is inherently worthy of love, safety, and connection. And yet, for many of us, early relationships, past partners, and identity based experiences have made closeness feel confusing, painful, or unsafe. You may long for intimacy while also bracing for abandonment, rejection, or disconnection and not fully understand why. I work with people who want to heal relationship trauma rooted in childhood, past romantic relationships, and the ways race, gender, and sexuality shape how we experience ourselves and others. I also support clients navigating sexual concerns including desire, communication, and shame.
