Hello, I am Mariela (she/they) a Queer and Genderfluid Bilingual Associate Clinical Social Worker. I utilize an empowering, trauma-informed, and holistic lens acknowledging the emotional, mental, physical, spiritual and environmental impacts. As a first generation immigrant and Queer person of color, I am deeply committed to supporting 1st Generation/immigrants, LGBTQIA+ community, and people of color, Latinx, Black, Indigenous folks, and more. My therapeutic approach is eclectic, I incorporate trauma-informed CBT, motivational interviewing, solution-focused, relational-cultural, mindfulness, somatic practices, psychoeducation, etc View 4 Photos In sessions, I aim to create a space that is safe and free of judgment, a space that centers your goals as we collaboratively explore and work towards them with patience, transparency, trust, empathy, and accountability.
