As a bicultural/bilingual therapist, my specialities include working with women and BIPOC folx healing from abuse, exploring cultural issues, and navigating life transitions or family conflict. I'm especially passionate about supporting survivors of sexual and domestic violence who seek to reclaim their power, rebuild their sense of self, and recover from trauma. During treatment, I acknowledge and address how gender, culture, and institutional structures impact mental health, while using a humanistic, and strength-based lens to empower clients. I believe therapy should be a collaborative process that creates a safe space to identify areas of change, growth, and healing. My style is eclectic and is tailored to each individual I meet with. I'm also person-centered, and interested identifying your existing strengths, assisting you in developing new coping skills, and promoting resilience from within.
