I work with people who struggle with anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. Others seek help because they suffer with a sense of disconnection or find themselves repeating unhealthy patterns despite their best effort to change. What we fail to realize is that these symptoms and patterns are often trying to tell us about something essential within ourselves that we had to push aside in our effort to get along and succeed, or they can reflect traumatic experiences from our past that had been too overwhelming to assimilate. Often the original meanings are buried deep within our unconscious with only these symptoms as a trace.
