Hi! My name is Marisa and I am an LMHC (Licensed Mental Health Counselor), residing in Massachusetts. I received my Master's degree in Counseling Psychology in 2018. I have been practicing in the mental health/human services field in a variety of settings: outpatient, crisis stabilization unit, residential and have experience working with adults dealing with a wide range of mental health and substance abuse disorders. My focus is person-centered and to create a compassionate, inclusive, and trauma-informed space to allow individuals to fully express themselves. During our first session, we will exchange introductions and I will focus on getting to know you and your story. We can discuss what you hope to get out of therapy. From there, we will go at your pace in discussing your biggest concerns and possible solutions.
