Hi There:) My name is Marisa. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor in NJ and DE. I am deeply committed to my work and this is demonstrated in my ability to connect with my clients. My goal as a clinician is to empower individuals and families while remaining receptive to feedback throughout the therapeutic process. It is more valuable and effective to understand my families lives through their lens opposed to applying a modality and a one size fits all intervention. I use a wide collective range of clinical modalities and interventions such as TF-CBT which assists in combating Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavior Therapy.Passionate that therapy must meet the individual’s needs, I believe that therapy and progress are not linear and need to be tailored to the individual
